How do you connect Salesforce, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Google Drive to Zoom AI?
Product names, APIs, connector lists, licensing notes, and MCP setup steps were checked against Zoom and Microsoft documentation on 28 August 2026. These details change. Confirm against live vendor pages and your own tenant before you buy, connect, or process regulated data.
Short answer
Zoom splits integrations into at least two catalogs. AI Studio data sources (admin, knowledge) feed ZoomMate and Agentic Search. Zoom's umbrella article KB0084343, checked 28 August 2026, lists Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Confluence, Box, Zendesk, Workday, and Seismic. ZoomMate third-party apps (KB0080219) are a longer, user-level list for actions (Jira, Slack, Gmail, and others). This page is the knowledge-source path named in the slug: Salesforce, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Google Drive.
Connect in Admin Center → Product configuration → AI Studio → Integrations, authorize, then account mapping so retrieval follows source permissions. Do not invent connectors that are not on the live catalog. Do not skip mapping.
Why the sources matter: Agentic Search complete guide.
Why are there two connector lists?
| AI Studio data sources (KB0084343) | ZoomMate third-party apps (KB0080219) | |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Account owner / admin in Admin Center | User in ZoomMate, if admins enabled third-party AI tasks |
| Job | Organizational knowledge for ZoomMate / Agentic Search | Natural-language actions and retrieval inside those apps |
| Examples in scope here | Salesforce, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Google Drive, plus OneDrive, Confluence, Box, Zendesk, Workday, Seismic | Those names may also appear, plus Apollo, Asana, Jira, Slack, Gmail, Outlook, Notion, and others Zoom lists in KB0080219 |
| Prerequisite Zoom docs call out | Paid license; ZoomMate license on several source articles; mapping | ZoomMate license; desktop/web app version 7.0.5 or higher on Windows, macOS, Linux |
Marketing pages say “10+ connected sources” and show Jira or Slack in stories. Those stories may be ZoomMate apps, not AI Studio data sources. If a name is not on KB0084343 or the live Integrations page, do not tell a customer it is a knowledge connector.
KB0084343's product table currently mis-labels Salesforce with Atlassian wiki language (the Confluence row is the Atlassian wiki). Treat Salesforce as CRM; confirm objects on the Salesforce connector card (KB0084849), not on the garbled one-line table.
How do you connect the four systems in the slug?
Shared shell, every time: Zoom web portal → profile → Admin Center → Product configuration → AI Studio → Integrations → product card → Connect.
Microsoft SharePoint (KB0084822)
ZoomMate license; Microsoft 365 org account with Global Admin, SharePoint and Sites access. After connect, pick sites and drives (All means all accessible content). Then Content access → Account mapping. Zoom says it adheres to existing Microsoft 365 permission structures.
Google Drive for Organizations (KB0084101)
Connect Google Drive, submit a service account JSON key, refresh Integrations. Zoom documents personal drives, shared drives, native Google files, uploaded files, and directory information, with read-only Google scopes (drive, directory, reports). This is not the same flow as a user clicking “Add Google Drive” inside ZoomMate.
Salesforce (KB0084849)
API access enabled; Zoom lists conversational AI Companion as a prerequisite on this article (verify in tenant; names are still in flux after the AI Companion interface retirement). Connect redirects to Salesforce Allow. Then account mapping. Zoom describes this as knowledge-base access under Salesforce ACLs, not a full CRM write integration. Writes, if any, belong on the ZoomMate Salesforce app after a separate governance review.
ServiceNow (KB0084847)
API access; permissions to knowledge articles. Connect with display name, instance subdomain, OAuth client ID and secret. Then mapping. Same split: knowledge source versus ZoomMate ServiceNow actions (create incidents, and so on).
OneDrive is the sibling file source (same 28-day / 10-minute sync class as SharePoint and Drive). Box, Confluence, Zendesk, Workday, and Seismic follow the same Admin Center path if they appear on your Integrations page.
What is account mapping, and why does it block go-live?
Zoom maps Zoom users to identities in the source so retrieval is on-behalf-of. Progress indicators can run a long time (Zoom's Salesforce example shows counts like 47/2596). Partial mapping is normal. If a Zoom user has no counterpart, they are omitted. Until mapping finishes, Agentic Search will look “broken” for those users.
You also cannot create multiple OneDrive / SharePoint / Google Drive app instances; you can for other apps. Plan tenant-to-tenant and GDPR regions before you click Connect.
How should a pilot be scoped?
- One knowledge source. Prefer a SharePoint site or Confluence space with clean permissions, not production Salesforce.
- A named identity-mapping owner who watches the progress count.
- Ten evaluation questions with known answers and known citations.
- Search API or ZoomMate Q&A first; Ask API and action connectors later.
- No customer-wide announcement until empty-result and wrong-citation rates are acceptable to the owner.
ADAM Pulse can help design that pilot, including which catalog (AI Studio versus ZoomMate apps) each system belongs in. We will not invent a connector Zoom does not list.
Frequently asked questions
Which systems can Zoom AI Studio use as organizational data sources?
As of Zoom KB0084343, retrieved 28 August 2026: Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Confluence, Box, Zendesk, Workday, and Seismic. Confirm the live Integrations catalog in Admin Center. Do not treat a marketing page as the catalog.
Is that the same list as ZoomMate third-party apps?
No. KB0080219 is a user-level ZoomMate connector catalog for actions and in-app retrieval (Asana, Jira, Slack, Gmail, and others). AI Studio data sources are the admin knowledge layer for ZoomMate / Agentic Search. Overlap exists (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Drive, SharePoint). They are configured in different places.
How do you connect SharePoint, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Google Drive?
Admin Center → Product configuration → AI Studio → Integrations → the product card → Connect, then complete that vendor's OAuth or service-account steps, then set up account mapping under Content access. SharePoint needs a Microsoft 365 Global Admin. Google Drive for Organizations uses a service account JSON key. ServiceNow asks for instance subdomain plus OAuth client ID and secret.
Do permissions follow the source?
Zoom says yes, via identity mapping. Partial mapping is expected. Unmapped Zoom users are not included. Zoom does not grant you admin rights in the third-party app.
How often does content sync?
KB0084343: OneDrive, SharePoint, and Google Drive full sync every 28 days and incremental about every 10 minutes. Other apps full sync daily; incremental is not supported. You may create only one app for OneDrive / SharePoint / Google Drive; other apps may have multiple instances.
Should we connect production CRM on day one?
No. Pilot with a non-production or tightly scoped site / knowledge base. Verify mapping counts, sample queries, and human review before you point Agentic Search at a system of record.
